Welcome to my Website... My interest in photography began on family summer vacation trips with a Kodak Brownie box camera many years ago. I have slowly progressed over time, through film and slides with 35mm SLR's to my present digital equipment. Along with photography I have always had a strong interest in the outdoors and wildlife. I started hiking back in the 60's with weekend trips. Over the years my trips have expanded to include the New England 4000 footers, the Long Trail and more recently the length of the Appalachian Trail. Along the way I aquired a BS and MS degree in wildlife management, before earning a DVM in 1981. After a long career in veterinary surgery and medicine, I look forward to combining my outdoor activities to work as photographer of our natural world. "Take it Outside" is my passion! Peter
